Progressive Content is the trading name for Progressive Content Ltd. As part of our compliance with new and existing data protection legislation, Progressive Content are dedicated to safeguarding and preserving your privacy when visiting our site and upholding these standards when communicating electronically with you.

This privacy policy provides a full explanation around what happens to any personal information that you provide for us, or that we collect from you, and your individual rights around that data.

This policy is updated from time to time so please review this page regularly.

Progressive Content Ltd is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is registered in the UK under the purview the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Where is my data going?

The information you provide through our website or via email will be held by Progressive Content – the “data controller” under the GDPR and related data protection legislation. If you want to get in touch with us, you can do so at any time either through the contact forms on this site, or by emailing cameron.sharpe@progressivecontent.com.

What is my data being used for?

Your data may be kept for a handful of reasons depending on how and when you provide it. These purposes may include:

- Provision of the Content Cloud service – alerting you to jobs or updating you on the progress of a task or assignment.

- Supply of necessary credentials – via the platform - to a potential customer or client.

- Payment or processing of a payment as part of a work agreement.

- Subscription to our newsletter database.

- A request to be contacted as a result of an enquiry or question posted through our ‘contact us’ section. You will not be sent any other materials without your explicit consent.

E-mails sent via our ‘contact us’ page are dealt with on a case-by-case basis, however no data is kept for longer than is necessary.

Newsletter data will be kept until your consent is withdrawn or if you no longer engage with or open materials we send over.

NB: Registration with and use of the Content Cloud service for contributors is free. We will process your personal data on the basis set out below as it is in our legitimate interest to do following your registration.

Who else will be able to see my information?

None of your personal data will be used for any purpose outside of those stated above. To that end, nothing you provide to us will be shared with third parties outside of that required for the fulfilment of agreed tasks.

E-mail newsletters and updates sent by us are done so through MailChimp – our e-mail data processor - whilst the Content Cloud database is managed and maintained by Appzlogic. All data stored through these parties is done so securely and our agreement precludes either party from using your details for any additional purpose.

What are my rights surrounding the data you hold on me?

You can request deletion of any personally identifiable data we hold on you by e-mailing cameron.sharpe@progressivecontent.com.

You may also ask to have elements of your profile supressed or withdrawn at any time, although please note that this may impact the level of service that we’re able to provide to you.

Every newsletter you receive from us will carry an option to opt-out of future communication.

You may also request a copy of all data we store on you by e-mailing the above address. It is your right to have these corrected or amended whenever or wherever necessary.

You also have the right to make a complaint about what we’re doing with your data. Please contact us if you’re concerned, but you can also speak to the Information Commissioner’s Office regarding a complaint. Their web address is www.ico.org.uk.

If you have any questions about the above privacy policy, please contact cameron.sharpe@progressivecontent.com.
